From November 24th to 28th, 2025, the "Reading the Greater Bay Area" music book fair, hosted by the Music Library of the School of Music at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, was successfully held at the Music Library. Using books and music as a bridge, the event attracted numerous faculty, students, and music enthusiasts, creating a vibrant atmosphere and successfully crafting a grand music and cultural event that integrated reading, experience, and exchange.

This book fair brings together over 6,000 music books, sheet music, and audio-visual products, covering multiple professional fields such as musicology, music performance, music theory, and music technology. High-quality publications from more than 50 renowned music publishers worldwide are gathered together, creating a platform for readers to explore music knowledge and access professional resources. Whether you are a scholar engaged in music research, a student learning to perform, or a music enthusiast, you can find what you need at the book fair and directly experience the richness and cutting-edge nature of music publications.

The book fair featured two channels: "Reader Recommendation Purchase" and "On-site Self-Purchase." Readers could recommend materials to the music academy library based on their interests and needs, contributing to the continuous optimization of the collection, and also purchase their favorite books and audio-visual products at a 15% discount. In addition to a wide selection of publications, the fair also showcased and sold a variety of beautifully designed music-themed cultural and creative products and stationery, combining artistic creativity with practical functionality to further enrich the exhibition experience. Many readers, while purchasing books, also took home a commemorative music-themed souvenir.

During the event, Shenzhen Media Group provided special coverage of the book fair, fully affirming its positive role in promoting music and cultural exchange in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and popularizing professional music education resources. This "Reading the Greater Bay Area" music book fair was not only a professional document exhibition and sale, but also a deeply impactful practice of music culture promotion. The Music Library will continue to plan and host similar cultural events in the future, continuously building an open and shared exchange platform for music education, academic research, and cultural dissemination in the Greater Bay Area, and contributing to the integrated development of humanities and arts in the region.
