【础产蝉迟谤补肠迟】

Bharatanatyam is a thousand-year-old classical dance from India. It originated in southern India, evolved from temple rituals into a world-renowned classical dance. It is a dance art that highly integrates emotions, melodies, and rhythms.

 

【About the Artist】

Shanshan JIN

JIN Shanshan is a Bharatanatyam dancer, guru, and scholar from China. A member of the China Association for Friendship with India, a member of the World Ethnomusic Society, is known by the media as the "Folk Ambassador of China-India cultural exchange". Under the guidance of her guru, Leela Samson, she underwent the most rigorous and meticulous training. Over her 30-year career in performance, research, and teaching, she has gradually developed her own distinctive style, earning widespread acclaim from audiences. In 2005, JIN Shanshan founded Sangeetham Indian Arts in Beijing, nurturing a new generation of Chinese Bharatanatyam dancers, including her own daughter.
